Developed by the National Health Directorate, the new health record book is part of a policy to promote greater neutrality and equality between girls and boys

Le nouveau carnet de santé met en avant le CVE

This new booklet, with more neutral colours, brings together all the elements concerning a child's health from birth, such as growth curves and weight trends, medical appointments to be made during the child's first years of life, and the vaccination schedule. Since monitoring and compliance with the latter is now facilitated by the Electronic Vaccination Record (CVE-Carnet de Vaccination Electronique) set up by the Agence eSanté, an informative note about it has been integrated into this updated health record book.

Opening an CVE for newborns considerably facilitates :

  • the recording of all vaccinations by the pediatrician
  • the visibility of the vaccination status for the various health professionals who will follow the child throughout his or her health care
  • monitoring of booster vaccines by sending personalised notifications
