World Parkinson’s Day
Parkinson’s disease requires close coordination between various healthcare professionals. The Electronic Health Record (Dossier de Soins Partagé- DSP) facilitates this collaboration by bringing together the patient’s essential medical information in one place.
In Luxembourg, this coordination is further strengthened by the ParkinsonNet Luxembourg network, which brings together professionals specially trained to provide high-quality interdisciplinary care. Combined with the DSP, this network enables more consistent, better-structured care that is centred on the patient’s needs.
Thanks to the DSP, healthcare providers can share a common, up-to-date overview, which helps improve continuity of care, avoid unnecessary examinations and support more accurate monitoring of the disease’s progression.
A simple, secure and valuable tool for both patients and healthcare professionals.
More information on the DSP can be found here.
