The Electronic Healthcare Record (DSP) passes the 20-million-document milestone
This volume reflects the growing adoption of the DSP by patients and healthcare professionals, who use it on a daily basis to share, view and centralise information essential to medical care.
This increased usage is also reflected in the number of activated eSanté accounts – a prerequisite for accessing the DSP and the Electronic Vaccination Record (CVE-Carnet de Vaccination Electronique) – with an average of 3,257 accounts activated per month by patients and 104 by healthcare professionals over the last 12 months.
Given that 90 per cent of CVE holders have enabled the automatic transfer of vaccination data from the CVE to the DSP, and that, on average, just over 2,000 CVE were created per month over the last 12 months, the growing use of the CVE also indirectly impacts the use of the DSP.
These indicators confirm the DSP’s role as a key tool for coordinating care, facilitating secure access to health data for the benefit of all stakeholders in the healthcare system.
