To mark the European Immunisation Week, the April issue of Semper magazine features an article on the Electronic Vaccination Record (CVE) and its growing role in the day-to-day work of vaccinators in Luxembourg.
The article highlights the practical benefits of the CVE for both healthcare professionals and the citizens: centralised access to vaccination status, easier data sharing, quick and reliable recording of vaccinations, as well as a vaccination decision-support system based on the recommendations of the Higher Council for Infectious Diseases.
The article also highlights the ongoing development of the CVE, which has been developed with and for vaccinators. This dynamic has already resulted in a significant new feature: the new summary view of vaccination status – now available – which offers a clearer and more intuitive overview thanks to a colour-coding system.
