Europe Day – 40th Anniversary Special Edition!
Representing an endorsement of the European motto ‘United in diversity’, the adoption of the Regulation on the European Health Data Space last year marks a major turning point in materialising this ambition in the field of healthcare.
Said Regulation establishes a common legal and technical framework designed to strengthen the interoperability of electronic health records and to facilitate the secure sharing of health data between professionals, regardless of which EU country the patient is being treated in.
As part of the Digisanté programme, coordinated by the Ministry of Health and Social Security, Agence eSanté is working closely with all relevant stakeholders to implement this major European project.
Together, we are preparing for the future harmonisation of the exchange and use of electronic health data within the EU.
This momentum confirms a firm conviction: working together means making greater progress.
