Such is the theme of the International Nurses Day 2026, resonating the message of the International Council of Nurses: “To maximise the impact of the nursing workforce on saving lives, we must empower them […]”
To achieve this, Luxembourg government provides them with a reliable, easy-to-use digital tool that respects confidentiality: the Electronic Healthcare Record (Dossier de Soins Partagé - DSP). Just after physicians, nurses are the profession authorised to upload and/or consult the widest range of documents within the DSP. The DSP can save time and improve efficiency in patient care and continuity of care.
To allow them to focus on what matters most — precise actions, listening, intuition, and above all patient care coordination— the DSP fosters nurses’ power to act.
