EHDS: The HealthTech sector is mobilizing!

On Tuesday 7 July 2026, several Agence eSanté staff members spoke at the information session on the European Health Data Space (EHDS) organised by Luxinnovation and the Ministry of the Economy.

Aimed at healthcare software and technology providers, the event brought together speakers from Luxinnovation, the Ministry of the Economy, the Ministry of Health and Social Security, and Agence eSanté to present the objectives of the EHDS and its impact on Luxembourg’s healthtech ecosystem.

On this occasion, our colleagues were able to provide further information on the central role of the DSP New Generation in the implementation of the EHDS regulation. They also outlined the future certification requirements under the EHDS, which will be based on a digital test environment.

Organised as part of the ‘Digisanté-EHDS programme’, this meeting provided an opportunity to present two major projects for the HealthTech sector, including the ‘Fit4EHDS’ project, designed to support companies in preparing for the requirements of the new regulation.

Finally, the meeting marked the official launch of the ‘EHDS HealthTech Community of Practice’, a forum for the HealthTech sector dedicated to the implementation of the EHDS.
