30th eHealth Network meeting: building European digital health together

Together with the Ministry of Health and Social Security, Agence eSanté joined other European representatives at the plenary meeting of this network of national authorities responsible for defining the strategy and standards for digital health in Europe.
Various topics relating to the European Health Data Space (EHDS) were at the heart of the discussions:
- progress made on the Implementing Act, which sets out the technical and operational specifications common to the 27 countries ;
- planned developments for MyHealth@EU, the secure network for the cross-border exchange of health data with a healthcare professional;
- interoperability, the digital test environment, and the future European format for the exchange of electronic health records, EEHRxF.
This meeting helped to build momentum around the EHDS and the benefits it will bring to patients and healthcare professionals:
- easier access to health data
- innovative, certified and interconnected digital health tools
- anonymised health data for research and public health
- continuity of care across borders
